Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and contractors to design custom cabinetry solutions for spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, an understanding of cabinetry construction, and excellent customer service skills to deliver designs that meet both aesthetic and functional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration:
• Meet with clients to discuss their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Provide expert guidance on cabinetry styles, materials, finishes, and Design Development:
• Create detailed and accurate cabinet designs
• Generate 2D and 3D renderings to present design concepts to clients.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements.

• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with contractors, and other design professionals to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
• Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.
• Material and Cost Management:
• Source and select appropriate materials and finishes that align with the client’s vision and budget.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and ensure designs stay within budgetary constraints.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of design specifications, project timelines, and client communications.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cabinetry design or related field.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of cabinetry construction and installation processes.
• Excellent visualization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with woodworking or cabinet manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ergonomic and functional design principles for kitchens, bathrooms, or custom cabinetry.
• Experience with project management software.
