Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations, togos or providing information as needed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with courtesy, aiming to resolve issues effectively.
- Assisting servers in running food and and cleaning tables
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience or a background in food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills
