- Provide exceptional shampooing and conditioning services using high-quality products tailored to each client's hair type and needs
- Assist stylists with hair treatments, scalp massages, and preparation for styling or coloring procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations
- Support store management with inventory checks, product restocking, and retail sales efforts including upselling hair care products and accessories
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit
- Learn and utilize salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting guests, managing appointments, and handling inquiries efficiently
- Passion for the beauty industry with an eagerness to learn about hair extensions, coloring techniques based on color theory, and nail or eyelash extension services
- Basic understanding of salon sanitation practices and cosmetology or barbering licensing requirements (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail in retail sales and store management tasks
- Willingness to develop skills in hair styling, makeup application, hair threading, nail care, and the use of salon software systems like MINDBODY
- Previous experience or training in retail math, upselling techniques, or customer service is a plus but not required
