What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker - Mixer/Material Handler position at Antonina`s GF Bakery?
Job Purpose:
Responsible for operating machines to mix ingredients to make cakes, pancakes and muffins according to specified formulas; determines ingredients based on formula sheets.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Sanitize the entire workspace: utensils, bowls, and tables
- Check ingredient carts for proper supply amounts
- Checks the amount of product in the refrigerator against the formula
- Mixes all wet and dry ingredients
- Follows formulas to make product
- Prepares all ingredients
- Separates all Allergen and Non-Allergen ingredients
- Thoroughly cleans workspace before starting a new product
- Avoids cross-contamination by keeping allergen products separated
- Make sure all cold items are not left out and that all containers are sealed and marked properly
Skills/qualifications:
- Be able to lift 50-100 lbs throughout the day
- Be able to stand for long hours
- Work in a fast passed environment
- Be a quick learner
- Be a team player
- Must work weekends
- Must speak Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
