As a member of our Materials Management team, the Procurement and Inventory Specialist maintains an appropriate spare parts inventory to support service and customer operations, ensuring accurate monitoring, replenishment, and SAP postings, while supporting customer orders, service requests, and Regional Offices to maintain operational continuity. You will report to the Logistics Manager in Ashland, VA. The salary range for this position is $22.56- $25.55. Responsibilities:

• Manage spare parts inventory, including stock replenishment, inventory analysis, and monitoring Field Service Representative inventory levels
• Process inventory transfers, capitalization entries, and internal consumption postings in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support service‑related parts requests, demo equipment requests, and other Regional Office operational needs
• Assist with customer orders for spare parts and basic instrument orders
• Create purchase orders for calibration and repair services
  
  

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a materials management (MM) or similar role, or 1 year in an entry‑level Procurement Assistant role at Anton Paar
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
