Mission:
To maintain and sustain production lines and warehouse. Reporting and providing information to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
'• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate hand truck to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Apply shrink wrap or banding as necessary.• Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
• Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
• Responsible for keeping adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Complete any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
What we are looking for:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and/or visual aids.
• Ability to use simple math.
