Housekeeper for the Antlers Inn

Job Overview
We are a small hotel seeking housekeepers willing to move to King Salmon for the summer. We offer employee housing, including a communal kitchen and laundry facilities. Pay starts at $16 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms and public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, making beds, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens with care and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests and addressing any concerns professionally
• Manage janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition

Qualifications

• No experience necessary
• Willing to learn various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with residents or guests
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
