About the Position
The Antlers Accountant is a key team member who will support the success of the Finance Department. In this role, the candidate will perform accounting-related duties and work closely with the Controller and other staff members to achieve organizational financial goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Reconcile income statement, balance sheet and cash flow accounts as well and budget variance reports.
- Maintain general ledger, prepare bank reconciliations and verify night audit.
- Review employee’s timecard reports to support biweekly payroll.
- Review and process accounts payable invoices including reconciliation of credit card statements.
- Prepare and file operational taxes with state/local governments, including year-end 1099’s.
- Maintain all contracts, leases and other legal and financial records.
- Process Antlers Owners’ Statements on a monthly basis.
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Gather information to prepare all operational budgets and forecasts with general manager, department heads, and controller.
- Maintain Capital Reserve Fund including assessments collected, capital expenditures incurred and account roll forward reconciliation.

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from accredited four-year college or university; or demonstrated experience to perform the duties of the position.
• Experience with accounting software and PMS software.
