Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks and support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure quick service.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers promptly while upholding quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast food restaurant, café, or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or cashiering in a restaurant or grocery store setting is a plus.
