Job Overview
We are seeking a per diem or fill-in Optometrist to join our independent practice located inside Costco in Antioch, CA. This role is primarily for Saturdays, with opportunities for additional days based on your availability and interest. The position includes comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical eye care in a structured, efficient schedule with patient volume adjustable to provider comfort.
You’ll be supported by experienced staff who perform pretesting, allowing you to focus on clinical care only, with no optical sales responsibilities.
We are also seeking maternity coverage from July through September, so please let us know if you are available or interested.
Requirements:
- Active California Optometry license
- Strong primary eye care and ocular disease management skills
- Comfort with EMR/EHR systems
