Veterinary Receptionist - Experienced

Target Experience: 2–5 Years

The Vision: We are a high-standard, AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Practice looking for a level-headed professional to join our front office team. We are looking for the right personality to ensure our client experience is consistently warm, patient, and welcoming, even during the "ruff" days.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Unshakeable Positivity: You are the person who remains calm and kind when a high-maintenance client is at the desk and the phone is ringing. You understand that "difficult" clients are often just worried pet parents.
• Confident Collaborator: You have a strong enough professional backbone to work alongside other high-performing coworkers. You can hold your own and stay focused on the task without being swayed by the energy around you.
• Experienced Triage: With at least 2 years in the field, you don't need to be told how to handle a blocked cat or a hit-by-car. You know the flow, you know the medicine, and you can manage exam room logistics in your sleep.
• Assistant Experience: While this is a front-facing role, previous veterinary assistant experience is a major plus. We value a team member who can occasionally "jump back" to assist with patient restraint for nail trims or technical appointments during a rush. This versatility is highly rewarded in our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client De-escalation: Acting as the primary "warm" contact for clients, ensuring they feel heard and valued regardless of the hospital's current pace.
• Workflow Harmony: Partnering with our existing veteran staff to maintain a seamless flow between the lobby and the medical team.
• Administrative Excellence: Handling high-volume calls, payments, and medical record management (Vetspire practice management system) with precision and a smile.

Salary and Benefits:
