Role Summary
Anthropologie Home is looking for a Print, Pattern Color Design Summer 2026 Intern to support the design team in the overall design and development of new home product collections, with a focus on print, pattern, and color application across product categories. This role is ideal for someone passionate about surface design, color theory, trend research, and translating visual ideas into compelling product designs.

Summer Internship Program Application Process: 1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. 2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received. 3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis. Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in creating original print and pattern designs for home products
- Support the development of seasonal color palettes and pattern libraries
- Translate hand-drawn or digital artwork into repeat patterns and production-ready files
- Prepare detailed technical specifications to guide production and ensure design quality
- Conduct market and trend research to identify relevant colors, motifs, and surface design trends
- Help organize and maintain artwork files, mood boards, and color references
Role Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in surface design, illustration, textiles, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong sense of color, composition, and attention to detail in pattern creation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced design environment
