Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA Coverage)- Location: Harvard, IL 60033- Schools: Elementary School & Junior High- Grade Levels: K–3 and 6th–8th- Assignment Dates: January 5 – March 16, 2026- Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours/week | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM- Setting: Onsite- Hourly Rate: $45–$55/hourAbout the OpportunityA supportive school district in Harvard, IL, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide FMLA coverage across an elementary school and junior high. This role includes a manageable mixed caseload, dedicated office space, and collaboration with strong student services teams at both campuses.Position OverviewThe SLP will deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and support students’ communication needs across K–3 and 6th–8th grade settings. Services focus on helping students access the curriculum, improve functional communication, and build confidence in academic and social interactions.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct and consultative speech and language services to elementary and middle school students.Conduct assessments and complete evaluation reports.Develop IEP goals and participate in meetings as required.Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.Maintain service logs and documentation per district and state guidelines.Travel between the two assigned schools within the district.Caseload & SettingMixed caseload across K–3 and 6–8 grade levels.Students present with mild–moderate communication needs.Dedicated office space is provided.Strong administrative and interdisciplinary support.QualificationsIllinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.Active IDFPR SLP license.Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.School-based experience preferred but not required.Why AnthroMed?
