Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000 annualized based on experience

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school district in Orland Park, Illinois, to welcome a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students throughout the school year. This opportunity is ideal for an OT who is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to access their education, participate in classroom activities, and achieve greater independence.

As part of a collaborative school team, you will work alongside educators, special education staff, and related service providers to develop individualized strategies that support students' academic, developmental, and functional needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and contribute to IEP development.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions aligned with student goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records.
• Support students in accessing classroom routines and participating as independently as possible in their educational environment.

Caseload Details

• School-based occupational therapy position within a district in Orland Park, IL.
• Grade levels and specific school placements to be determined.
• Caseload details and student needs will be discussed during the interview process.
• Opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary school team.
• Onsite position supporting students' educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license through IDFPR.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, special education processes, and school-based occupational therapy services.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• A passion for helping students build independence and reach their full potential.
