About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students across two supportive school sites in the Rockford, IL area. You’ll serve one elementary and one middle school at each site, working 2 days per week at one location and 3 days per week at the other.

What You’ll Do
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to PreK–8th grade students
- Address student needs in fine motor, gross motor, sensory regulation, behavior, and executive functioning
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support functional skill development to increase student independence in the school setting
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive climate across both school communities
Caseload Details
- PreK through 8th grade student population across two nearby schools
- 2 days/week at one site, 3 days/week at the other
- Combination of direct therapy, small groups, and consultative services
- Student needs include motor development, behavior, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy License required
- School-based experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and culturally responsive practice
