Opus an Anthony Scotto Restaurants is looking to hire for a host/hostess position.
Host/Hostess Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Manage Reservations and Waitlist using OpenTable.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess stand and entrance area
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or as a host/hostess is a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma
