Responsibilities
· Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of hospitality from start to finish.
· Present menus, explain dishes and specials, and offer wine and pairing suggestions.
· Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
· Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
· Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
· Perform tableside service when required (e.g., pouring wine, preparing dishes).
· Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
· Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables, service stations, and dining area.
· Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
· Support team members and contribute to a smooth front-of-house operation.
· Collect payments from tables.
Skills
· Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
· Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with a warm, professional demeanor.
· Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including familiarity with Italian cuisine, steaks, seafood, and dietary accommodations.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on supporting a smooth front-of-house operation.
· Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure during high-volume service.
· Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
