We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest relations throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS, or similar systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, performing basic math calculations when necessary.
- Address any guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications (preferred, not required)
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
