Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of properties This role involves evaluating existing conditions related to mold remediation, asbestos abatement, lead abatement. The Inspector will play a crucial role in identifying hazardous building materials for our clients

Must be license asbestos inspector in sate of CT , Lead Inspector a plus, Mold Inspector a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify hazardous materials
- Evaluate conditions related to Asbestos, Lead, Mold.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, including recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices related to property inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of inspection results and necessary actions.1
- 1-3 years of experience in the hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene industry.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred in Environmental Science, Health and Safety or related field
- Must be able to read project specifications and drawings.
- Prior experience in various aspects of abatement projects is a plus.
- The following certifications are a plus: CT Licensed Asbestos Inspector; Asbestos Project Monitor; Lead Inspector.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to various work schedules and situations related to emergency response scenarios.
- Intuitive and creative thinker. Understanding of their surroundings and reason the services are being provided. A consultative demeanor and ability to work with customers / clients and offers solutions when needed.
- Work as a team player.
- Ability to carry and climb ladders and being able to use hand and power tools.
- Be able to wear a respirator, safety harness and other safety equipment as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records check.
