Job Description
Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is seeking a motivated and customer-focused In-Store Sales Consultant to join our Retail Sales team.
In this role, you will engage directly with customers inside Home Depot retail locations to identify home service needs and generate qualified sales leads. This is a customer-facing sales position that plays a key role in driving business growth.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in retail sales, customer service, or lead generation who are looking to grow into a long-term sales career.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers in retail store environments through professional and proactive communication
- Identify customer needs related to HVAC systems, repairs, replacements, and home service solutions
- Promote current offers, services, and membership options
- Generate and submit accurate, high-quality sales leads using company systems
- Maintain consistent activity levels and performance expectations
- Build strong working relationships with Home Depot associates and store leadership
- Represent the company with professionalism and strong customer service standards
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Dispatch, and Scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations with customers
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Basic computer and tablet proficiency
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete flooring for extended periods throughout each shift
- Continuous movement within a retail store environment
- Ability to maintain energy and engagement in a high-traffic, customer-facing setting
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Retail sales experience
- Lead generation experience
- Experience working in big box retail environments
