What are the responsibilities and job description for the Musical Instrument Quality Control position at Anthem Musical Instruments, Inc.?

Anthem Musical Instruments distributes woodwind and brasswind musical instruments to band retailers. We are located 10 minutes from Lowell, MA.
We are seeking a musician/technician who is proficient in at least one of the following instruments: saxophone, flute, clarinet.
You will be responsible for inspecting and adjusting new instruments, which includes basic repair techniques. Potential additional compensation available with continuing repair training and proficiency benchmarks.
The successful candidate will be familiar with basic hand tools, able to lift 30lb boxes, flexible to do other work as needed (shipping, etc...). Mechanical aptitude required.
We offer comprehensive in-house training, providing opportunities for advancement into band instrument repair.
This is an excellent opportunity for a band director (retired or not), music teacher, music major/student, or gigging musician.
