Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration of medications and treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Conduct vital signs and observe resident behavior to ensure their overall health and safety
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive and caring environment
- Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medication administration and vital signs
- Participate in educative programs and in-services to enhance knowledge and skills in medication management and care techniques
- Certified Medication Technician certification is required
