Responsibilities:
- Assess resident needs and provide necessary nursing care as per resident's care plan
- Manage CNAs and Resident Assistants by carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work
- Ensure that resident rights are maintained and that medications and treatments are administered in accordance with approved nursing techniques and physician orders
- Document nursing history and physical assessments for assigned patients upon admission
- Respond to life-threatening situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Participate in department and/or unit performance improvement activities
- Attend in-service training programs and stay up-to-date on safety, infection control, and other relevant policies and procedures
- A minimum of three years of experience in a senior living community, with a minimum of one year of experience in a management/supervisory position
- Current and valid Nursing License
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption, as required by law
