We are seeking seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laser Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting urologic procedures, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our partner facilities and medical professionals. This position involves hands-on support in clinical settings, data management, and inventory oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support to partner facilities and urologists during laser lithotripsy and other urologic procedures, ensuring smooth operation and optimal outcomes.
- Collect, document, and report case treatment data for outcome tracking, quality assurance, and billing purposes for services rendered to contracted facilities.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and all relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations in handling patient and procedural data.
- Perform routine care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of partnership equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
- Manage disposable product inventory, including ordering, tracking, and restocking to maintain adequate supplies and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Director of Laser Operations and cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and resolve any operational issues.
- Participate in training sessions for facility staff on equipment use and best practices, as needed.
- Travel to partner facilities as required to provide support and conduct inventory audits.
- Position involves rotating call coverage for emergent procedures (where applicable)
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or comparable
- Prior experience in a clinical or medical device support role, ideally in urology or laser applications.
- Strong understanding of medical procedures, equipment maintenance, and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data reporting protocols.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and handle travel requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $36 - $48 per hour, based on experience.
