As our growth has continued, we are looking to hire a Mechanical Technician who understands that we must maintain the highest level of quality and standards for the products that we create and send out around the world.
Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and tracking materials throughout the facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, and picked correctly for manufacturing jobs in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse/assembly environment.
Job Description:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Key information into Shop Floor Inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or outbound orders.
- Safely operate material‑handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure inventory is properly labeled.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Follow all safety procedures, workplace standards, and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read work orders, labels, and packing lists.
