What are the responsibilities and job description for the #25-26-80 Payroll Technician (District Office) position at Antelope Valley Union High School District?
Under general supervision completes all payrolls, prepares reports pertaining to payroll and payroll taxes, monitors an employee’s earned time and deductions and performs other duties as assigned.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Two years of financial clerical experience including the operation of bookkeeping and calculating machines. Education: Completion of twelfth grade, including or supplemented by related courses. Knowledge of: Payroll, bookkeeping, filing, typing, modern office machines. Ability to: Do general clerical work; type, operate calculator, etc.; operate copying machines; understand and follow oral and written directions; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
