Requirements / Qualifications
In addition to the materials listed below, you will be required to produce a valid CA Driver's License and pass both a fingerprint and drug test clearance upon receiving a job offer.
Original copies of certain documents will be require to be produced at the time of interviews. Any incomplete applications will not be considered for further screening.
* A personal letter of application expressing the candidate's reasons or interest in the position
* A current resume including background information, experience, knowledge of current educational trends, community engagement and professional involvement
* Three current professional letters of reference
* Copies of transcripts verifying degrees
* Copy of a valid credential

The Position of Psychologist determines the needs of students from school, parent, and/or self-referrals for evaluation of problems and makes recommendations for educational programs and psychological assistance. Confers with parents, teachers, guidance counselors, etc. regarding recommendations for the pupil. Attends evaluation and placement committee meetings for the Special Education Program. Directs the work of special education teachers and instructional support personnel and assists in the evaluation of special education teachers in concert with other administrators.
