We are seeking an Assembler for a full -time permanent position.
Job title: Assembler I
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs basic production activities associated with the production of Wiring Harnesses, Electromechanical Panel Builds, Assemblies. (Entry-Level)
- Cut wire to drawing dimensions.
- Apply labeling to assemblies.
- Apply shrink tubing to assemblies.
- Perform “tinning” operations on stripped wire as required by the drawing.
- Have a basic understanding of mechanical assembly and how things fit together
- Perform basic mechanical assembly operations using various hand tools.
- Perform other basic tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- No prior work experience required; you must like working with your hands - being good at taking things apart & putting back together.
- Previous mechanical build, furniture assembly, or other mechanical skills a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb or use a step stool
- Ability to work in small or tight spaces
- Must possesses desire and ability to learn
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
