Assistant Director of CM Operations

The Assistant Director of Museum Operations serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Operations and a vital bridge across the leadership team, ensuring seamless daily operations of the Creation Museum. Operating alongside both the Director and department managers, this role functions as a trusted resource, tactical integrator and collaborative sounding board.

The Assistant Director champions a God-honoring culture, working together with managers to help them navigate operational challenges, eliminate system friction, and realize their full professional and spiritual potential.

• Work alongside department managers to continuously evaluate daily systems, tools, and workflows, helping them to identify friction points and enact improvements.
• Assist managers in researching process gaps and departmental needs, acting as a collaborative partner to formulate and present high return on investment recommendations to the Director of Operations.
• Conduct regular operational walk-throughs and calibrations to ensure compliance with SOPs and service standards.
• Proactively identify physical touchpoints needs (signage, guest flow, facility conditions) and coordinate with the appropriate teams to maintain a seamless guest environment.
• Collaborate with managers to review personnel allocation and material logistics, helping them balance exceptional customer service with efficient team and resource management.
• Assist in the development and monthly evaluation of departmental revenue and expense budgets.
• And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3-year operational leadership experience, preferably within large-scale hospitality environment
