Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) in Plymouth for a 4hours shift 3 times a week, they will be responsible for providing personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes or care settings, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Responsibilities typically include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Providing hands-on support with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed
- Supporting personal hygiene and dignity, especially for male clients who may prefer a male caregiver
- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration per care plan
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Monitoring and reporting changes in condition to supervisors or nursing staff
- Assisting with light housekeeping related to the client’s care (laundry, bed changes, tidying personal space)
- Supporting exercise or range-of-motion activities as directed
- Ensuring a safe environment and following infection control and safety protocols
- Maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communication at all times.
Must have a clean driving record with a reliable mode of transportation.
