Pilot & Demonstration Plant Engineering Manager

Green River, Utah | Full-Time

Anson Resources | A1 Lithium is seeking an experienced Pilot & Demonstration Plant Engineering Manager to lead plant operations, technical scale-up, and team development at our Green River Lithium Project in Utah.

A1 Lithium is a U.S.-based subsidiary of Anson Resources Limited (ASX: ASN), advancing the Green River Lithium Project through innovative Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. We are developing a domestic source of high-purity lithium products for the growing battery materials market.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced engineer who can move confidently between process engineering, plant operations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and people leadership.

You will play a key role in translating pilot-scale data into demonstration-scale operations while building the systems, processes, and technical team required for the project's next stage of development.

• Lead day-to-day pilot and demonstration plant operations
• Manage and develop chemical process operators, laboratory technicians, and technical personnel
• Translate complex engineering requirements into clear SOPs and operating practices
• Convert pilot data into demonstration plant designs and scale-up strategies
• Oversee process engineering, including mass balances, P&IDs, and PFDs
• Optimize systems including RO, electro-oxidation modules, evaporators, filters, crystallizers, and ion-exchange columns
• Lead commissioning, startup, and hands-on plant troubleshooting
• Manage EPC contractors, technical vendors, capital expenditure, and operating costs
• Lead HAZOP studies, JSAs, field risk assessments, and site safety practices
• Build a strong culture of safety, accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
  

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• 6 years of experience operating chemical process systems
• 3 years of experience managing hands-on plant technicians or operators
• Demonstrated experience building, commissioning, or operating pilot or demonstration plants
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and plant automation capability
• Experience with water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis
• Familiarity with standard laboratory analytical systems
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Experience in Direct Lithium Extraction, lithium brines, hard-rock processing, hydrometallurgy, mineral processing, leaching, solvent extraction, or crystallization is highly regarded.

Experience with ICP-MS and ICP-OES instrumentation is also preferred.

US$112,000–$152,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening, pre-employment drug test, fitness-for-duty medical assessment, and respirator medical evaluation and fit testing where required.
