Fitness Attendant ***Part-time / 25-30hrs per week / Weekends Required***

Description / Job Responsibilities
• Tidy Gym
• Wipe Equipment
• Replace Gym Wipes as needed
• Restock Towels and Pull Towels
• Manage Lost and Found
• Contact Repair Company and place machines on “Out of Order” if service is needed
• Help Members sign up for classes and other fitness events
• Help at Fitness events – 5k, Glow in the dark, Paint parties, etc.
• Set up links for registrations on programming
• Keep MindBody up to date
• Monthly and daily billing
• Ordering of Fitness Center and Pool supplies
• Turning in Purchase Orders
• Gym Orientations for Members
• Answer Member questions on equipment and programs
• Scheduling for Trainers
• Answer simple emails
• Help supervise Summer pool staff
• Assist in ensuring pool operations run smoothly
• Assist with Summer Swim Team operations
• Get in touch with Athletics leadership if needed to address emergency situations
Requirements
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills with strong organizational ability.
• Strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Occasional lifting, bending, reaching and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member.
Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part time position traditionally working up to 30 hours each week. The assigned hours to this position vary each week according to event schedules, but include working on weekends and holidays.
Salary : $15
