Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, flexible, and skilled Medication Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional care to our residents. Previous experience in an assisted living facility, a flexible schedule, and previous experience assisting with the self-administration of medication are highly preferred.
Duties
- Assist residents with the self-administration of medication in a timely, compassionate, and efficient manner in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's) as needed
- Keep and maintain accurate records in the Medication Observation Record (MOR)
- Communicate and interface with coworkers, residents, family members, vendors, and management personnel as needed to ensure best quality of care
- Assist residents with other tasks as needed e.g. laundry, light housekeeping, ambulation and/or moving to and from activities in the community etc.
- Reporting any concerns or change in resident condition to supervisor and/or nurse immediately
- Other duties as assigned

- Florida 6 hour initial medication technician certification
