Position Summary
ANSER is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in cybersecurity operations and the implementation of information system security and related policies. In this role you will identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives and recommend mitigation measures
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity operations expertise to implement, sustain, and mature the organization's security posture in alignment with DoD Zero Trust (ZT) and Continuous Monitoring strategies
- Implement and sustain Data Loss Management (DLM) and Digital Rights Management (DRM) policies
- Manage and optimize the organization’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform (e.g., CrowdStrike)
- Provide incident response support including event/incident log analysis and after-action reporting to provide recommendations to help prevent the incident from re-occurring
- Support cyber defense activities to include making recommendations regarding Indicators of Compromise (IOC), malicious cyber activity, and the overall security posture of the networks
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline OR any Bachelor’s degree and cyber related certification of CISSP or higher
- 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, implementing, or recommending cybersecurity control solutions that ensure protection of information and systems
