Position Summary
Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a mid-level Chemical and Biological Defense Program Medical Program Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (ODASW(CBRND)). In this key role, you will apply your medical planning and strategy subject matter expertise to assist in the oversight of the Department’s chemical and biological defense (CBD) portfolio.
This position requires job duties be performed onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA 3-4 days per week with 1-2 days per week worked remotely.

(ANSER) is seeking a mid-level Chemical and Biological Defense Program Medical Program Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (ODASW(CBRND)). In this key role, you will apply your medical planning and strategy subject matter expertise to assist in the oversight of the Department’s chemical and biological defense (CBD) portfolio.

Day To Day Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support services to enable effective and efficient oversight, coordination, review, and strategic planning of the CBD medical program.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and attending meetings, drafting and reviewing documents.
- Develop and propose solutions to critical problems by creating actionable strategies, implementation plans, and oversight plans that use metrics to reallocate resources or efforts.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise to facilitate government oversight, coordination, and integration of initiatives on medically-related issues and programs that involve the interagency and international communities.
- Provide support to Government Leads on other research, development, and acquisition issues.
- Support the ODASW(CBRND) at interagency/international conferences, seminars, and meetings by preparing power point presentations, briefings, read aheads, and talking points and presenting briefings.
- Routinely engaging with senior military officers/civilians from the Services, Joint Staff, Interagency, White House, National and Homeland Security Councils, and Congressional staffers.
- Coordinate with DoW and interagency stakeholders on CBD matters of national interest.
- Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is required. Master’s degree equivalent to 3 years’ worth of experience
- 8 years of experience as an Action Officer, staff officer, in acquisitions, military medicine, AI activities, or similar related field
- Prior experience with the oversight of acquisition programs
- Advanced degree in a relevant field of study
- Understanding of DoW Artificial Intelligence applications
- Prior experience with the oversight of medical countermeasure programs
- Experience leading or managing relevant medical projects or programs for a DoW agency
- Knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval process
- Prior programming and budgeting and program management experience
- Prior experience with the Chemical and Biological Defense Program
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management and Intermediate Systems Acquisition
