The Anselmo Academy of Music and the Arts, a non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Violin Instructor to lead after-school group violin classes in Marble Hill, Bronx.
Details:
- Schedule: Wednesdays (required) and one additional afternoon (Friday preferred, but flexible - not Tuesday).
- Hours: 2 hours per teaching day (1 hour with 10 students, followed by 1 hour with a second group of 10 students).
- Commitment: Position begins on 10/15 and continues through June 2026. Both groups meet twice weekly.
- Location: In-person, Marble Hill (Bronx, NY).
- Compensation: $50 per hour.
- Additional Opportunities: Option to take on more group and private classes as they become available (if interested).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Prior group class teaching experience required.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to working with young students in a group setting.
- Must be local to New York City and willing to travel to the Bronx.
