Essential Duties And Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)
- Manage administrative tasks such as client payments, managing received mail and plans, and thorough record keeping
- Organize and maintain all case files, including indexing/filing evidence
- Coordinate with clients, experts, municipalities, representatives, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Open and close files
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients on behalf of attorneys
- Assemble and send certified mail
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, questions, and requests
- Answer phones in a pleasant and professional manner and communicate with clients, staff, professionals, and other attorneys daily by phone, email, and mailed correspondence
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Some knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- 0-2 Years of experience as a Legal Assistant
- An associate's degree or certification in paralegal studies is a plus
- Knowledge of the document management system iManage and the billing system Orion is a plus

Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
