Job Summary
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for our employees. This role focuses on frontline helpdesk support, basic network administration, and user account management. Ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on experience in a real business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide helpdesk support for end users, including troubleshooting computers, printers, and basic hardware issues
- Assist with network-related tasks, including connectivity troubleshooting and basic network support
- Manage user accounts, including new hire setups, access changes, and terminations
- Support domain controls, permissions, and user access clarification
- Troubleshoot common software and system issues across Windows-based environments
- Document issues, resolutions, and basic IT procedures as needed
- Escalate more complex issues to external IT partners or senior resources when appropriate

Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of IT support, helpdesk, or network-related experience
- Internships, co-ops, or academic IT roles count toward experience
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting printers, desktops/laptops, and basic network issues
- Familiarity with user account setup, access controls, and permissions
- Basic understanding of domains, user authentication, and network concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Clear communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
Preferred
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized office environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft environments (Windows, Active Directory, O365)
- Prior experience working with ticketing or helpdesk systems
