Part-Time HR Support

Schedule: Average of 20 hours per week (hybrid with flexible hours)

Anticipated duration: November 2026–July 2027 (could be extended)

Anschutz Exploration Corporation is seeking part-time, temporary HR support to assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee communications, and HR administration. This opportunity is well suited for a current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in gaining hands-on HR experience in the oil and gas industry.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate the monthly employee newsletter.
• Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding from offer acceptance through the first week, including Paylocity tasks and email communications. The HR Manager will conduct in-person orientation.
• Track completion of required policies, forms, employment eligibility documentation, and benefit enrollment.
• Update employee and staffing information in Paylocity; assist with timesheet administration and labor allocation and general ledger reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly random drug screening logistics and employee notifications.
• Assist with employee leave paperwork and communications.
• Compile and validate data for annual compensation survey.
• As time allows, assist with updating job descriptions and uploading them to Paylocity.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Interest in HR; related coursework or prior HR or administrative experience is helpful.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook and Excel, and learning new systems and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, ask questions, and work independently with guidance.

Salary Description
