Legal Administrative Assistant - Jacksonville, Florida (onsite)
Ansbacher Law is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to one primary attorney while also providing administrative and legal support to the firm’s practice teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars and schedule conferences for the attorney ensuring a cohesive calendar while complying with firm procedures.
- Collaborate alongside the practice teams with regards to scheduling client meetings, attorneys’ outstanding tasks, preparing materials, etc.
- Prepare materials for events such as hearings or client meetings.
- Handle various administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, time billing, expense reports, membership renewals, etc.
- Proofread and finalize correspondences and legal documents.
- Support client intake specialists including screening clients, drafting engagement letters and completing conflict checks.
- Provide administrative assistance to practice groups and attorneys as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other operational initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in customer service.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn legal software.
Preferred Skills:
- AA or BA college degree.
- Previous experience in a law firm or as an executive assistant.
