Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check -out procedures
- Obtain and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with accuracy
- Assist clinicians during examinations and procedures, including medication administration and basic life support (BLS) protocols
- Collect patient histories, perform intake assessments, and document relevant medical information with attention to detail
- Manage administrative duties including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient phone calls
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience
- Minimum 1 year of front and/or back office experience
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in diverse healthcare environments
- Demonstrated organizational skills to handle intake processes, vital signs collection, and documentation accurately
- Spanish or Armenian speaking preferred
