Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely response to patient calls, telehealth consults, or facility requests during on-call hours.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions as needed.
- Document all encounters and communications accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Support emergency response and facilitate patient transfers or hospitalizations when clinically indicated.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and ancillary staff during on-call shifts.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA and infection control protocols.
Experience and Education:
- NP Degree from a College or University and two years related experience and/or training.
