Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Screw Machine Shipping & Secondary Operations Technician to join our team. This position plays a key role in the final stages of our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging and shipping precision-machined parts, as well as performing secondary operations such as deburring, tumbling, polishing and cleaning. Person will also be responsible for invoicing on QuickBooks online so experience with this software is a plus but not necessary. Applicants will need to work well with others and have general math and computer skills. They will need to be dependable and have reliable transportation. We are a family run company that is located in the Sandpoint, Idaho area and have been in business for 38 years.
Responsibilities:

Package and prepare finished parts for shipment according to customer specifications.

Coordinate shipping activities, including labeling, documentation, and carrier pickup.

Perform secondary operations on parts including:

Deburring (manual or automated)

Tumbling (using vibratory or rotary tumblers)

Cleaning (ultrasonic, solvent, or manual methods)

Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in shipping and finishing areas.

Assist with inventory management and part tracking as needed.

Work closely with machinists and quality control to resolve any product issues.
Invoice and Prepare Shipping labels for shipping.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred.

Familiarity with screw machine parts a plus.

Knowledge of deburring and tumbling techniques a strong advantage.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.

Basic math and measuring skills (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality parts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Salary : $18 - $20
