Commissioning Engineer

Job Description

Anotech are looking for Commissioning Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) for our clients in Energy sector.

You can be involved on different power plant activity from Offshore Oil & Gas project with Static or Rotating equipment to onshore LNG plant, or decarbonization project such as carbon capture, ammoniac plant, hydrogen, offshore wind farm.

Your Missions

• Organize, plan and manage the preparation and execution of the Start-up and Operation activities to ensure smooth start-up and transition to Operation in accordance with COMPANY’s methodology and secure adequate resources.
• Promote safety & quality to all personnel within his organization.
• Assess project risks. Report any technical finding or potential safety issue to the hierarchical manager,
• Define the start-up sequence and detail procedures to be developed,
• Review the Operating Manual including the Initial Start-up procedure,
• Organise daily activities of start-up /operation group and assign equipment or systems to be inspected and tested,
• Recommend field changes beneficial to plant operations or necessary for efficient commissioning,
• Identify need for engineering, licensor, vendor or subcontractor specialists to solve technical and mechanical problems which cannot be solved by site teams and arrange for their timely arrival through head office support groups
• Prepare guarantee test run instructions and arrange for the necessary personnel to perform test runs and provide evaluation of results,
• Prepare monthly progress reports of activities performed by start up / operation group and highlight any negative events such as delays, design/erection errors, missing spares, on proper forms,
• Prepare final start up report highlighting problem areas, recommended engineering changes, improvements in organizational efficiency and personnel performance evaluations to ensure that experience gained from each start up is fed back to CLIENT organization,
• Check that safe procedures are followed during star-up & operation sequences and in use of equipment and materials;
• Maintain a relationship of maximum co-operation with Company and his appointed representatives and with vendor specialists and process licensor start up teams, to assure mutual satisfaction and efficiency;
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the site start up & operation group and office support groups.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in commissioning activities
• Extensive technical knowledge on the project type (LNG, Offshore, OWF)
• Office documentation AND site activities required
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow and improve a schedule
• Electrical or Mechanical background (Process can be interesting also)
