Position Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will serve as the senior executive responsible for overall leadership, operations, and strategic growth of the company. This individual should be either:
- An experienced vascular/vein doctor seeking a leadership role, or
- An executive with a proven track record in the healthcare industry (preferably multi-location clinics or specialty medical practices).
The CEO will drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and business expansion while building a culture of quality patient care and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to expand services, improve patient outcomes, and grow market share across the Rocky Mountain region.
- Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day operations of multiple clinic locations, ensuring smooth workflows, financial performance, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Clinical Excellence: If a physician, maintain a limited but visible clinical presence to reinforce high standards of care; if non-physician, partner closely with medical directors and physician leaders to drive clinical quality.
- Business Development: Identify and implement growth initiatives, including new service lines, partnerships, marketing strategies, and geographic expansion.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, revenue cycle, and profitability targets while ensuring sustainable growth.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and retain top clinical and administrative talent; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-first service.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and best practices in vein and vascular care.
- Board & Investor Relations: Report regularly on performance, growth initiatives, and risks; align leadership decisions with long-term shareholder and stakeholder objectives.
Qualifications
Preferred for Physician Candidates:
- MD or DO with board certification in Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology, or related specialty.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with leadership or administrative responsibilities.
Preferred for Non-Physician Candidates:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
- 7 years of executive leadership in healthcare, ideally multi-location specialty clinics.
General Requirements:
- Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare organizations.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including P&L management.
- Deep understanding of vascular/vein care industry dynamics (clinical workflows, patient experience, payor environment).
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
