This role is responsible for executing system validation using lab equipment, supporting hardware bring-up efforts, and collaborating with engineering teams to build and troubleshoot automated test equipment.Job DutiesImplement test procedures for processor and hardware systemsOperate lab instruments, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimetersUtilize software interfaces to control test equipmentFabricate custom test setups and harnesses for electronic validationPerform system validation in thermal and electrical environmentsExecute soldering, rework, and component-level PCB modificationsTroubleshoot test hardware issues and document findingsSupport the deployment and commissioning of test systemsSkills & ExperienceRequired:Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power suppliesExperience with electrical testing using lab instrumentationBasic programming skills; Python preferredHands-on experience building automated test equipment (ATE)Technical degree or relevant field experienceProficiency in reading schematics and technical drawingsExperience with soldering and PCB reworkComfortable using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioDesired:Experience using Jira for test tracking and collaborationAutomotive instrumentation experienceExperience with industrial automation systemsAbility to move/lift test instrumentation and perform physical lab tasksBlue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
