**Job Title:**Injection Molding TechnicianPay Rate:$30 – 37/hrLocation:Portsmouth, NH 03801Duration:PERMShift:1stShift, Mon-Thurs (7:00am – 5:00pm)**Job Summary:**The Injection Molding Technician is a highly visible and critical role in our operations. This individual will provide hands-on technical expertise to help take our injection molding capabilities to the next level of competency. In this role, you will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, and external mold shops to launch new mold programs as well as optimize existing mold programs (e.g. reduce cycle time, reduce down time, reduce scrap and achieve productivity requirements).**Responsibilities:**Establish, optimize and document injection molding process parametersEstablish, optimize and document injection mold changeoversPerform injection mold changeoversEstablish and perform injection mold and injection machine preventive maintenanceEstablish and maintain injection mold and injection machine spare partsPerform advanced injection mold troubleshootingPerform basic injection mold and injection machine repairsOrganize injection mold and injection machine maintenance performed by mold shopsProvide plastic part and injection mold design feedback to Manufacturing Engineering to support design for manufacturabilityAssist with training of Manufacturing Technicians as neededAssist with plastic part processing as neededAbility to follow all safety requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned**Qualifications:**High school diploma or GEDMinimum 5 years of hands-on injection molding experience including:- Functional knowledge of injection moldsFunctional knowledge of injection molding machinesEstablish and optimize injection molding parametersPerform injection mold and injection machine preventive maintenancePerform injection mold changeoversPerform advance injection mold troubleshootingPerform basic injection mold repairsIndependent and self-motivatedGood verbal and written communicationYou should be proficient in:Injection Molding ExperienceMachines & technologies you'll use:Injection Molding MachineID:qnkTyx
