Cannabis Processing Lead

We are looking for professional and motivated team members to assist with i502 Processing duties. We are a i502 Licensed Tier 3 producer/processor located in Shelton.

5 years minimum experience in Cannabis Extraction is required for this position. We are currently building our team for production and need all team members to work efficiently to accomplish all objectives.

The position can be very labor intensive at times and you must be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, stand and or crouch for extended periods of time while processing materials. Tasks will include but not limited to disposes of waste and maintains waste and designated area according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Manipulates and refines Hydrocarbon and Ethanol extract per SOP.

Supervises and assists in pre-processing and post-processing activities and the setup, breakdown, and regular operation of the extraction room(s) as needed.

Maintains a clean and organized lab area and work space; performs continuous safety checks on machines and equipment which includes tools; notifies the Processing Lead of maintenance needs.

Understands laboratory equipment and processes required to make all product types and manipulate ethanol and hydrocarbon concentrates into many diverse product types.

Emphasizes safety in all laboratory activities and is responsible for employee safety and adherence to safety measures, process, and procedures.

Receives and communicates instructions, job assignments and updates verbally and non-verbally from Laboratory Director to technicians and assistants, instructive lists, SOP, email, and other department electronic communication.

Performs continuous safety checks on equipment and notifies management of maintenance needs.

Logs material information in a designated tracking method.

Ensures material condition is maintained.

Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment at regular intervals.

Requirements:

Be 21 and be able to pass a criminal background check

Must have reliable transportation. Strong attendance record and be punctual.

Must also have good hygiene, possess the ability to follow direction, be able to stay focused & motivated for extended periods of time, able to sit or stand for long periods of time, detail oriented, and keep a clean work area.

Hours of operation are 9:00am-5:00pm

40 hrs per week

Monday - Friday

Weekends may occasionally be required.

No cannabis consumption, drug or alcohol use permitted on the premises

Compensation starts at $21-25 hr depending on abilities and experience.

Each employee will have a 90 day probationary period before becoming a permanent employee.

Once the employee becomes a permanent employee, health benefits and 401K will be available.
