Position: Material Handler
Location: New Albany, Ohio
Department: Assembly
Reports to: Production Manager
Shift: Second Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:45pm – 10:00pm
Pay: $15.50/hour

JOB SUMMARY
This entry-level position works in the Assembly Department and is responsible for loading plastic and metal into the machines, ensuring machines are stocked, and moving finished goods and staging material.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Check and maintain stock levels of metal, plastic and packaging materials at each machine to keep the machine stocked
- Move finished goods parts to the warehouse staging area and place on correct skid in the proper stacking pattern per the Job Card
- Check Job Card on the machine to assure what materials are needed for each machine
- Break down empty boxes and take to compacter at shift end or as needed.
- Move finished goods pallets to the shipping dock as required when skid is full or at job change.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work at a fast pace, and stand/ walk for the majority of the shift.
- Work overtime as needed to fulfill the production demands of our customers
- Lift 50 lbs. and boxes overhead.
- Good communication, organization, and record keeping skills.
