Job Description
The Medical Transportation Driver will safely and professionally transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, patient, compassionate, and committed to treating every passenger with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled destinations.
Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate customer service.
Assist passengers as needed while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
Communicate professionally with passengers and the office.
Complete required trip documentation accurately.
Follow company policies and applicable transportation requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid New York State driver’s license.
Safe and responsible driving record.
Dependable and punctual.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Patient, respectful, and compassionate when working with passengers.
Ability to safely assist passengers as needed.
Ability to follow schedules, routes, and company procedures.
Must be able to pass required background and driving record checks and any other applicable screening requirements.
Previous medical transportation experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
Part-time
Flexible scheduling based on passenger transportation needs and business operations.
Availability for weekday transportation is preferred. Some early morning or later afternoon hours may be required.
Pay
$16.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
